I use and abuse my BK&T Companion. I dislike the sheath with a passion though. The button hasn't worked since the second month I owned the knife, luckily I don't have to worry about retention with it.

In my opinion it's just not a very well designed sheath and I would like something new.

Does anyone know of any good resources to find something like this? I actually think I'd prefer leather, but am open to another kydex that doesn't have that worthless belt loop on it like came from the factory.

I have a BK9 and love the sheath.

My Campanion fits great in a Spec-Ops Combat Master sheath, the short variety. I wasn't sure if it would be too thick to fit in but it's perfect.

I actually prefer it to any of the others I've tried and it comes in black, olive, coyote, tan, forest, grey, and ACU.

I have a kydex/ concealex sheath for my Campanion from Normark (On-Scene Tactical) that's served me very well. It rides high on the hip, unlike the annoying leg slapper that it came with. I also have some custom kydex for my Barkies from Sharpshooter and another kydex sheath from Survival Sheaths for my RTAK II. All three make great sheaths and a reasonably priced.

Does it have the mag/multi-tool pocket on it as well?

If you can do Kydex, Okuden just did an Awesome Number for my Busse GW. It's Perfect. I just sent him My Scrap Yard YKLE for another. As for leather, Lowes Leather is doing a Quad rig for both My FBM and DFLE. Nice stuff....

YES!

I have so many spec-ops sheaths that it became easier to just create a mini-kit for gear. I keep mine in an old Honer Harmonica case. It fits perfect in all the spec ops pouches and has an LED, Mini Bic, fire steel, a Leatherman Micra, and a couple small pieces of fat wood. I can change it from one sheath to another in no time.

Ok - nevermind fellas. I posted the Companion up for trade. I guess I no longer need a sheath... :):)

Thanks for all the input.
