I used to buy all my wood locally but the place I got it from no longer carries any of the exotic woods from lack of sales. Where is the best place online to buy from? I use mostly ebony, cocobolo, and lignum.

I never can remember, what size in inches is 4/4 lumber and 8/4 lumber? (You can tell I'm not a woodworker!)

These guys are great too! Ask for Donny, and tell him you are wanting wood for knife handles. He will give you the low down on all the fantastic stuff they have. They also have a web cam up and running so he will put the pieces infront of the cam and you can check it out before you buy it.

Thanks for the links guys I'll check into those for next time. after I posted this I looked around online and found that www.cookwoods.com was only an hour and a half drive from my house. I decided to save some time for shipping and just drove over there this morning. I spent about an hour building up a good size pile of wood that I got to take home for $50:D I figure I got about 30 knives worth. Mostly ziricote and cocobolo with some ebony, lignum and bloodwood for good measure.
