Anybody here tell me where or from whom i could get a pivot pin for an 813 or if somebody could repin it for me. I highly doubt it would be covered under warranty and was told the Bucklite series wewre hard to fix due to the plastic breaking while being taken apart.
The story is I bought an 813 off the bay awhile back, knowing it was missing the screwdriver blade. The knife was loose , but I figured it was due to the missing blade.
When i first got the knife it looked like the previous owner removed the pin and took out the blade. After carrying it for the past few weeks it was getting looser. I was playing with it last night I discover that the pin broke? or was cut in the center of the middle blade. My plan is to insert another pin, fill in the space where the screwdriver blade was with epoxy putty. let dry and then peen the pin.( that sounds dirty
).I am not worried about looks, this is my beater.
