I need a sheath for my new 110

Hey guys,
After dabbling in "tactical" and newer style knives, I decided to get back to basics and picked up a Buck 110 at Bass Pro. Even though when I called I was told there were 7 110's in stock, when i got there, there was only one. For some reason, they couldn't find the leather sheath for it. After about 15 minutes of searching and an outstanding effort by the staff, I was given a discount and a nylon leatherman sheath. The nylon sheath is cool, but I feel like such a nice knife should be in a nice sheath. I was thinking of buying the sheath that normally comes with a 110, but I was wondering if anyone on this forum had any other inexpensive leather sheath recomendations. I don't want to spend too much money, but I'd like something nice. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, Gadsen

Welcome to the fold Gadsen.

For what it's worth, you can go to the Buck web site and order a leather 110 sheath for ~$15 or a nylon one for a couple dollars less.

Option number 2 is to go to a chain (we sell everything under the sun) store and buy another 110. For ~$35 you get another 110 and a nylon sheath.

Option number 3 (my favorite): Hit the flea markets/resale shops/antique sales/G&Kshows and look for a used, beat up, belt worn, oil soaked sheath that has some true character.

In the grand scheme of things, $20 is less than a tank of gass. Even at the $2/gallon we're enjoying now. I don't remember what I did with the tank of gas I bought a few weeks ago but I remember something as silly as ordering another Buck 285 with the extra $20 I had in "disposable income".

What is truely important is, you use your new 110 to create some memories and to share it's adventures with those that will appreciate it (that means us).

Option number 4 is to go to the big auction site on the world wide web and search, "Buck 110 custom sheath" and a bunch will come up. A lot of them are priced in the low $20s.
