I Need a Sheath

Hi all,

So I been gone for a pretty long time but now I'm back and I need some help. I have an EDC2 (I think), can't really tell the difference between all 3 and can't remember which one I bought. Anyway I need a left handed sheath for it. The kydex one that came with it is for RH carry only. Not really sure if I would like kydex or leather, all I know at this point is it needs to be left handed and be able to be attached to a 1.5 inch wide belt. I figured someone here could point me in the right direction. I'll wait here lol

someone contacted me a little while ago and will be sending an EDC2 for a sheath. I have an OG EDC, and the plan will be to make a sheath that's not only ambidextrous, but will fit both iterations. I'll be making a small batch at some point over the next couple months

I would advise you to get both a Kydex and a leather sheath. I look at sheaths the same as holsters: you can never have too many different types. I like to have sheaths for the right and left side. I usually always carry my Glock in a shoulder harness, but I have other holsters just in case I might need them.

First check out which knife you have. From CPK's website:

The EDC1 blade is a little rounder and thinner compared to EDC2.

If it's the EDC1, azwelke azwelke can make you a good Kydex sheath. For the EDC2 and Kydex, might want to check with @VJT. For leather, check with duramax duramax - I remember he made one for one of our Super moderators :)

BTW, OP, what you appear to have is a "Dozier" type sheath. Some of the EDC2 came with MashedCat sheaths that are ambidextrous, in that you can put a belt loop or Tekloc on either side. You could also put a Want to Buy post for such a sheath in the CPK Buy/Sale thread - you might be lucky.

Just wanted to let you know that Al’s azwelke azwelke EDC sheath fit both the EDC and EDC2. Actually I prefer the retention on the EDC2 a little better because it’s a tad bit lighter, but It still has excellent retention with no rattle.

Another Azwelke recommendation.

No rattle, no kydex touching the blade.
Perfect retention, and the knife is not coming out unless you want it to.
I also really like the small footprint. Matches well with the CPK EDC. Can throw it in the pocket, or put it horizontal or vertical on the belt. Very versatile.
