for a schrade LB-7. I Have the original one, but I would like a horizontal sheath. I have searched but with no luck. I would like a leather one if possiable. Thanks for reading.

As far as I know, Schrade never made a horizontal carry sheath for the LB-7 knives either as original supplied or as an optional accessory. They did make, for a brief time, a pair of horizontal carry sheaths for smaller slipjoints, the SAS12 (up to 3 1/2") and SAS13 (up to 4"). These appeared in the 1983 cataloge and were last shown in the 1986 catalog. I have one and it is a good design, but of course too small for the larger LB-7 and 7OT. Maybe a custom sheath maker can make you one to fit from this pattern if it suits you. Or you can ask the Buck collectors if Buck made one for the 110 since they are near the same size and shape.
