I need a small favor from a cigar smoking Hog

Could one of you cigar smoking Hogs mail me one of your empty cigar containers? Either a metal or plastic cigar container is fine. I just need a an airtight, fairly rigid tube of about that diameter and length.

I have a better idea. You go out and buy a nice expensive cigar. You then keep the tube, and mail me the cigar. :D :D
 
None of the tubes I've had left over were airtight. Maker's Mark cigars come in a glass tube (they're probably seconds from a test tube manufacturer) with a cork stopper sealed with wax, and that's about the closest I've seen to airtight. None of the aluminum cigar tubes are airtight, and they'll dent if you look at them too hard. If someone knows of a cigar tube that's actually airtight (other than cigar caddies and other accessories), please post the name.

Thanks for warning me that they're not airtight. I think they'll be fine. I just need the stored content to be kept shielded from environmental dust. I expect this would be easily accomplished by keeping the lid wrapped with duct tape between the times I open it.

Should be in the mail by tomorrow or day after. Double check, but these ones in particular should be airtight ;)

Most will probably be alright for that purpose Mike, but watch out for KAAK, he has a bad technique for opening those suckers!
