I've noticed recently a glut of posts following in the "OMG I NEED A NEW KNIFE I HAVE $X TO SPEND WHAT IS GOOD?"
I have decided to start a spread sheet with recommendations from those threads. Eventually this could be a nice tool we could use to help people decide on a specific knife. Then maybe we'd see more model specific discussion instead of "I need a knife, what's good".

Does listing the price (but not link) from a vendor on the spread sheet count as price spotting? I want to be able to say the approximate price and where I saw the price.
It can be sorted by each category. Allowing users to browse by brand, price, steel type, use, etc.
Is there anything other information that should be included on the sheet to make it more useful?
Keep in mind I've only spend about 20 minutes on this, I don't want to spend a load of time if people think this wouldn't be worthwhile.
