Can we compile a list of TOUGH EDC blades. Typically folders and sticky it? I think it would be helpful for some people. I see "I need a knife that can take a beating, costs less than $50 and looks nice" atleast twice a week (sometimes more!)

We could compile them in order of cost categories, with a link to the manufacturers (is that allowed?) website showing the specs and pics. I'd be willing to compile the list and links if people want to make suggestions. If this is a stinky idea, or one that has been done let me know! I didn't include links, because some of the links include prices and I didn't know if that counts as price spotting.

Not a bad idea... Can we add a rating system for each category on each knife?

Erm... what's the definition of tough? I mean, I've used my Spyderco Endura to hammer through logs... probably abuse right there, but it took it. If that counts, I'm pretty sure almost every spyderco would qualify.

Great idea. Anyone have ideas on how to rate them? Some kind of 5 star voting system.

Hm. Good point.
