Hey Guys,
Last January you guys helped me out choose a knife. I didn't end up choosing from my choices back then and I got a Manix 2 XL instead and I've been happy with it. Now I'm having a hard time choosing between two knives.
Little Background:
I was supposed to get a PM2 and my favorite dealer doesn't have any in stock till who knows when. Other sellers price their PM2's at extremely high prices almost $50(converted) more. So I first thought about getting a Lionsteel SR1A. I went to a show and handled a Kizer Gemini today and I absolutely loved it. The TI was great and action was like butter. I was supposed to pull the trigger but the only stock they had was the one on display(on both stores I went to) and both had scratches on the pivot that seemed like it was dropped on an abrasive surface which was a turn off for me. The scratches weren't just the anodization but the metal itself.
TL;DR
I've always wanted the SR1A and now I'm having a hard time choosing between the two. I've handled the Gemini in person but not the SR1A. I'm not really bothered by the size difference but I want to know which should I go with. The size and sexiness of the SR1A is drawing me in but the simplicity of the Gemini is also calling me.
