So I got some decent cash and I can't decide between these two blades.. The first picture shows 3 customized 801's and I can pick any of them price tag 200$ The second picture is the benchmade 940-1 price 260$ I don't really care for flippers so I think I am leaning towards the 940..

I'm partial to the 940, but I'm also partial to light weight pocket friendly EDC knives.

The 940-1 is only 2.4 ounces, whereas the 0801 is 5.8 ounces.

You should probably go with your gut on this one. If you're already leaning towards the BM then I say go for it.

The 0801 is amazing for the money; one of the best production flippers out right now. But if flippers aren't really your thing, you may have a harder time warming up to it. I know you've got that lightweight Manix, so you're comfortable with the BBL. I would say the Axis is similar in function.

I'm actually partial to the ZT, but you may feel differently.

Does zt still cover the warranty on a 801 like these?

If you don't like flippers, the 940 does seem like the obvious choice. If you haven't tried a manual flipper on bearings before, though, the 0801 may change your mind about them. It does have really great opening and closing action, and the thick titanium handle slabs feel great in hand. The 940 is an excellent EDC knife as well. It is very slim and packs a good length of blade. Both are excellent, albeit very different knives.

I would get the 940. That's a beautiful knife and I don't care for those rainbow colored knives....but I do love ZT.

I love benchmades.. Man this is tough! The guy who did this anodizing is selling out fast! I need to pick soon.

Knives, you can always get an 0801 and get it anodized at your convenience, brother. Choose the one you want the most and get that one. Sounds like it's the Benchmade!

Incidentally, I'm saying that as someone who made that choice:
