My wife has put me on a budget, so I can't buy a Strider, Coogler, etc...
I do wantt a good i.e. usable fixed blade karambit.

I am playing in the $100.00 or so range which obviously limits what I
can buy. Any suggestions ?

Oh, I did find this site that offers Karambits made from D-2 steel
for 50-60 bucks plus S/H, but I don't know anything about who
makes these knives.

The CS Steel Tiger is within your budget, but it's huge. I really like the Fox/Derespina Kuku Hanuman (not the camo one!) but it's about $155.

There are very few quality production karambits out there.

Cold Steel also makes one with a smaller blade (in the three-inch range or so), I think it's called the Secret Agent, but I could be wrong about that. It's only about $35 or $40.

Check out mineralmountain.com the small prick is about $150 good luck

P's.if you can talk your wife into a larger budget then check out mark tarrel's kerambit.
