Hi!

A friend of mine is looking for an old book.  It's name is "Karunungan sa Larong Arnis", and was written by someone by the name of "Cruz".  It is supposedly the first book ever published on arnis.

Any leads on locating a copy of this book would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Dave,

I have the book sitting right in front of me! Fowarded by G. Luis Cruz By Placido Yambao with himself and Buenaventura Mirafuente in the photo's. It was released in 1957, 86 pages, 96 photo's.
It's all in Tagalog, My teacher, Master Rey Galang of Bakbakan gave me a photo copy of the book the original one is falling apart! I believe he may be translating it into english in the future.
If your still interested in the Tagalog copy let me know.

Wileen

Hey Dave,

Maybe your friend is looking for Placido Yambao's book "Mga Karunungan Sa Larong Arnis". If so, this is hard to get since the book is out of print for how many years.

Wileen & Rommel,

I think we're talking about the same book.

Wileen,

I don't know if my friend knows the book is in Tagalog, so I'll check and see if he still wants a copy. I'll let you.

Thanks!

Dave.
