i need help identifying this knife

Does it say Ontario or Camillus on the bolt on the ass? should give you date of manufacture too. Looks like an oooold Air Force issue Pilot's SERE knife, looks like it may have been ground down and sharpened on the clip.

Pilot Survival Knife, issued by the USAF, made by Camillus and Ontario for the military, there was also a civilian market version made in Japan and sold under one of the Jim Parker's companies.

Agreed. I had one a fews years back. Cheapos. Weak knives.

They definitely serve a rough use purpose and you can do ALOT with those "cheapos". For rough use knives you don't mind actually USING, then tossing, they are great. If you use one long enough the handle will start to mold to your grip. I always put a strong convex grind on it and kept the fine arkansas stone handy. I would never get personal or sentimental over one, but for a use, abuse and toss kind of knife they aren't bad.
