Howdy fellow Oinkers! I have been here at the US Army Drill Sergeant School now for about two weeks. Unfortunately the Army computers we have use of have certain sites blocked to include Blade Forums and Bussecombat.com . Even this crappy ATT internet terminal where I am paying twenty cents a minute to check the forums has filtering software that kicks in whenever a picture of a knife comes up on the screen.
Does anyone have any ideas of where to go to get net acces? I have looked for internet cafes here and I have not found any. I am going to try the public library here in Columbia SC and see if I can get on the net from there or do they have filtering software too? I f anyone has any Ideas please mdrop me a line at my email address. I 'm Jonesin' for somer INFI news and the box the wie said is waiting for me when I return from school ina couple of months.

Nick, good to see ya. Hope you get this straightened out.

We need help figuring out the recent "lemuring" of both the server problem here and how the power failure figures into the Lemur's scheme to corner the INFI market.

How's married life man??

Good to hear from you Nick! Hopefully we can help you get hooked up!

Say howdy to the wife for us!

Thanks All, I am enjoying what little of married life I have been able to enjoy so far. I will say Hi to the wife for all. I have been jones'in for some INFI news.

Spark,
I thought of anoymizer.com, I will try it. I hope they don't have it blocked as well.

I am using a computer at Kino's right now. IT still costs 20 cents a minute. At this price it rerally sucks. I could almost rent a hotel room with highspeed access for what it costs for a few hours on the net. At least kinko's doesn't have the filtering software that blocks pictures of knives.

Regards,

Nick

Don't forget to log out when you leave Kinko's - remember the "keystroke logger" controversy there only a few months ago.

I'd be tempted to check out the library Nick. It's not a big deal to get access and I believe all librarys are wired. Good luck!

You can't look at knives on ARMY computers?

Dude...that's messed up.

Good luck on finding some affordable internet access. I'd try the library.
