I NEED HELP!!! What's the Right Way to handle a Shabaria?!?

Hi, I really want to buy a Shabaria, but I can't figure out a comfortable way to hold the darned thing.

I've got medium sized hands, and the knife just doesn't feel right.
Anyway, pictures would be HIGHLY APPRICIATED.

I place the non pivot end in the palm of my hand and wrap my fingers and thumb around the rest of the handle behind the pivot end hump in a saber grip.
Works well in a ice pick grip too.
