I acquired a knife in an estate sale. I really only bought it because I hadn’t ever seen one like it. However I’m coming up dry finding any actual information on it. I need your help!!! Any Info would be greatly appreciated. The knife is exactly like that in the pic. It’s a stag handled fixed blade, mirror finish, stamp says othello Solingen rostfrei Germany. In addition to the fixed blade it had a folding paring knife, a folding saw blade, and a corkscrew.

Lets have a look☺
Discussing value is taboo.
All other aspects will be easier to process with a pic.
I crop my pics down to under 2Mb
Upload file
Straight from phone.
Lets get started...its German or maybe Chinese.
Drag handled? What is that ? Ive never heard the term.
Cheers

I think he meant "stag" handle, but his autocorrect changed it to "drag".

Secondly, Rostfrei means it is likely late 70s through mid 90s in timeframe, and not likely on the higher end of the scale. The nomenclature "Rostfrei" means Rust Free, but has become to be known as a mid to lower tiered alloy and knives associated with this name also may fall into this bracket.

Thirdly, as Meako said, you can't ask about a value without being a gold or higher paid member. Furthermore, you are asking us how to turn a profit off of one of our own. That is often frowned upon as well.

I can't help but to think that many Mustang enthusiasts would be a bit ticked if I came to their forum and asked them how to turn the most profit from what I thought was a good deal on a 1964.5 Mustang... In this particular case, the Mustang wouldn't be a '64.5, it would be a 1978 Mustang 2...

OK, value questions are gone, member has been notified. Let's see if we can help with the knife ID.
Thanks for the assist guys!

The manufacturer of the Othello brand is Anton Wingen Jr and your hunting knife could be from the 1990s or earlier. What you describe as a "folding paring knife" is a gutting blade.

When my pics are too big to direct upload, I use post image to upload pics, which can then be inserted as picture links in the picture tab function.
