Sounds like one of the 85mm former Wenger models Victorinox kept in production after they bought out Wenger.

Good catch about the scissors. But I think by ‘tongs’ he meant pliers…Also still think he is talking about a 111mm knife. The main blade extended protrudes from the frame about that much.
