I just got my first ESEE last week, the HEST. I love it, it's an amazing piece of work. The problem is that I already have 2 izulas on the way also, I just couldn't resist. Oh yeah I got the set of micarta handles for both of them also.


Well that wouldn't really be a problem except for the fact that I'm fighting the urge to buy a 4 and a 5 today. Someone, anyone, please stop me!

I now own every ESEE thats out at least, (a model of each, not every colr, serr/plain, etc) and am trying to get the older RAT marked ones also. Think my next purchase will be a Scrapyard Dogfather. If anyone wants to trade..........

On that note cant wait for the Hest folder to come to market
 
i'm in the same boat you are. I started with an izula, got a HEST, numbered HEST folder on the way, orange izula on the way and i just ordered a 3-mil
 
If you can afford them, just go ahead and get them and get it over with. That's more or less what I did. Just ordered a new one every week for the last 5 weeks or so.

You will eventually get them all anyway.
 
I bought an Izula, a RC3-MIL, and an RC-5 (oh and a firetool) in less than a month. If you're wallet can stand the pain, you might as well scratch the itch. If not you can always buy one a month until you get all the ones you want :-)

get the 4 and the aftermarket scales - then next paycheck you can get the 5 or Junglas...
It's all about rationing yourself. :D
 
Here's a hint - you can't buy more if you're out in the bush using the ones you have!

Esee is just the gateway drug... it's justifiable as long as you keep constructively cutting stuff, preferably not yourself... I've got the HI, traditional scandi and Condor bug.
 
You said you need help? I dont even see the problem :D

Just give in. In the woods i carry a Izzy and a 4 at least. They complement each other great! With the new handles available at TKC, who wants to resist :)
