It looks like a Project 2 but has a hex head. There is a survival kit in the handel. It is marked with the CRK logo but it is larger than the ones you see today. The knife and sheath are both marked made in S.A. The knife is also numbered #295. The knife and sheath are both like new. I am trying to find out when made and did it have a name back then. Any info would be great. This one goes in the safe way in the back.

The knife sounds a lot like a Jereboam II - does it have a 9 inch blade?

All the knives that we made while we were still in South Africa were supplied with hex butt caps - we changed to round ones a year or two after we come over to the USA (in March 1989).

Please confirm the blade length and I'll be able to give you an idea of when it was made.

Anne
