I need info on becker necker ?

Nice neck knife , does it hold a good edge ? will it pry without breaking , in other words is it a little brittle ? There is a wire breaking notch on the pommel of the knife . How exactly do you break a wire with it ? What size and kind of wire is it meant to break ? Anything else you can add would be appreciated .
