I need opinions on 2 different steels please.

I'm looking at gettting a ZT 0350. I've found them in both S30V and ELMAX/Sandvik 14C28N. Which is a better hard use steel? The ELMAX/Sandvik 14C28N costs about $30 more. Is there an adavantage to the laminate blade?

I own both. It seems that the composite blade with Elmax holds an edge just a little better than S30V. It's also a bit easier to sharpen from what others have said. The Elmax is a limited run from what I understand. I would get that one as the regular version can be had at anytime.

Which one can you keep sharp??

Go with the Elmax, higher performance and easier to sharpen.
