i have decided to purchase a ocelot and a manix but i cna't de3cide which to get serrated and which not to please make suggestions

Serrations are primarily useful for cutting fibrous material, like rope. They also make interesting patterns when used to spread butter on a sandwich.

Plain edges generally cut as well, as long as they are kept sharp, and they won't bind in the material the way serrations can.

I agree serrations are for rope, twine, straps, they make sharpeners for ser. knives, but their never the same after you cut something, my prefference is w/ straight edges.

i have decided that since i normally edc 3 knives any way i'll go with a manix pe a ocelot pe and a boye ce rigging knife with the dedritic cobalt blade this combination should cover all my bases the dsendritic cobalt is supposed to be pretty mean shit pleace feel free to give more opinions
