I need some audio setup help also.

I have several pieces I want to add to my system. I do have a multi-amp, rack mount component setup, well one amplifier with five separate inputs that feed five individual internal amps. Have another similar amp with six inputs. My main speaker stacks have two bass cabs, mid-range horn, mid range regular speaker and tweeter on top. Each speaker has its own input.

Two rear also and two subwoofers.

So I got a 4 channel crossover and a compressor. I am baffled about how to hook them into my system.

Is there an "Audio for Dummies" book? I have mostly got this conglomeration working, but just plain can not figure out how to hook up the crossover and compressor.

Is there a specific Forum somewhere for this stuff?

You need lotsa duct tape.

Of course there's a forum somewhere. But call a high end stereo store first and ask.


I don't have the address, but there's a Polk Speaker forum that is tied in with the Polk factory. There's lots of people on that forum who could tell you what to do.
