I got a boker Magnum folding knife from my dad for christmas, but the action in is is so stiff that it is difficult to use. It doesnt have a model number that I have found. It is a liner lock with green G10 scales. I have taken it apart but was wondering if anyone has had this same problem. If it is a design flaw then I can live with it, but if it is an assembly problem then I would like to fix it.
thanks to all.

Got a torx driver? Get one that fits the pivot and try and unscrew it just a little bit if it doesn't budge don't force it. You'll strip the screw or bit. But that should loosen the pivot a little and probably help. After doing this, If the pivot backs out you may need to get some loctite or in a pinch you could use plumbers tape for copper piping.

FYI there is a Boker forum in the Manufacturers section.

Did you save the box? Posting a pic would help ID the knife too.

In addition to loosening the torx screws, you might also try a bit of oil on the pivot.

Has the quality on Boker magnum folders even gone up at all ?
I've got one from around 2001 and it's gas station quality.

Now this knife probably just needs some oil

No they have not. They are a budget brand though, so it's expected.
