I need some help

My chief asked me to come up with some kind of team insignia and name as well as find an embroidery company to make some hats for us. Right now I am in Fob Sykes Iraq and I am working 14 hours a day and then working out 7 days a week. I do not have time to create any kind of design and i am a terrible artist. So I have talked to the guys at tactical tailor and they are doing the embroidery as well as providing the hats. I need some ideas for a team name as well as a design. Now here is a little background info, We are military intel, we are not rangers or sf or even task force but we do work with them alot. The most i can say about our job is we exploit enemy communications. 35N is our mos. So if anyone has any good ideas or can do a little art work i would greatly appreciate it.

I'll try to sketch something up for you too look at over the holidays if I get a chance. I enjoy stuff like this.
 
Hmmm, it's gotta have some kind of lightning bolt or radio antenna (for the units comm mos, and to represent radio waves), Iraq and US flags (crossed under Scimitars and lighting bolts ????).

Or maybe a grim reaper type person holding or grabbing a lighting bolt and/or holding crossed LB's, or a Scimitar crossed with a LB.

is your unit from out west??? if so what about a cowboy roping lighting bolt from the sky???? or somthing on that line.

Bald Eagle grabbing and biting lighting bolts (swooping down on them holding LB's and biting a Scimitar.

AS for a name.....i got nothing.
 
How about a military radio with a bald eagle flying out the left side/a hand with a bolt of lightning crashing-in from the right with the unit's number and name.

Slogan:

Ok this is just going on team hats. so it has to be simple
My buddy said team black heart we were thinking something along those lines.
Sigint is not something that we really want to be thrown around out here. There was an article printed in the news paper from Seattle Tacoma area that laid out our whole mission and number of soldiers, so my unit is kind of up in arms about that.
This is just supposed to go on the front of a hat.
 
A fist with a knife in it, in icepick grip, being driven through a cell phone. The enemy is using wireless phones more than conventional "radios," yeah? I mean, I know a modern wireless phone IS a radio, but you know what I mean. They're not using a PRICK.
 
My wife's contribution is a cell phone tower or an open flip-type cell phone either wrapped in chains or barbed wire. (She's hot that way.) :D
 
Ok it cant have anything to do with cellphones or radios for opsec reasons. We were thinking like team blackheart with a black heart and a white border, I know its gay but thats why i wanted some ratpack help. It can be comical as well but I think as long as its in good taste. If it was me i would put the shocker or something like that on the hat but it has to be aproved through my chief. I like the lightning bolt idea, What if we could incorperate something sneakey or silent with it something spy like. Again if you want to look up my unit for a little background i am in the 201st Battle field survailence brigade 109th mil intel battalion. I really do appriciate all the help and please keep the great ideas coming
 
The only misgiving I would have about using anything that's Iraq/Afghanistan-specific is that your unit might eventually be deployed elsewhere in the world.

I really like the lighting-bolt-in-the-web idea....no unit insignia, no explanation, just the cryptic design. Let any observers wonder what it means - make them use their imaginations - only you and your buddies will know for sure. Maybe the spider web's outer perimeter could form the shape of your "black heart"?

oruacat2 I like that idea. Do you think you could put your ideas on the computer, its cool if you cant i got the idea of what you are saying and i dig it. Thanks for the idea please keep them coming.
