I saved up a pretty long while to do my next knife purchase.
I've got plenty Victorinox knives, and I just got a Spyderco Delica 4.
Now I've got something around 150 dollars, but here in The Netherlands, everything is much more expensive:(
I was looking at a Zero Tolerance 0350,
I am hearing a lot of good and bad things about it.
Does someone have experience with this knife?

Thanks in advance.

The ZT 350 is a very nice knife. If there would be any problems Kershaw would fix them but there are way more good things said about the ZT 350 vs bad. I say go for it. Kevin :D

I've had three or four and liked them. My son carries one. Good carry knife; capable of heavy work if necessary. Depends completely on what your daily carry needs are...

That it is way to heavy for every day carry,
And some say that the lock isn't that great also

The weight thing will differ from person to person. I didn't find it too heavy at all. The liner lock on it is SOLID.

The 0350 is an assisted knife. Are these allowed in the Netherlands? If not, the torsion bar can be removed to turn it into a manual knife.

I don't find the 0350 to be too heavy, but I have seen several YouTube reviewers who have thought it was too heavy for the blade length. It's overbuilt like pretty much ALL of the ZT line, so it's pretty much expected to be heavier than most knives that size.

I like mine.

Hey another dutch guy :)

What do you think of the 0566? It's similar length but more compact and 15 grams lighter :P. It's still in your budget.

you are going to secondary school? (middelbare school)
Have the school his own rules regarding knives?

@Above, Yes assisted knives are allowed. I have asked a shop that sells these knives. Because you still need some user action to open it's not a automatic. And thus it's legal :).

Yes, I'm going to a secondary school in Limburg.
One time,
i lost a knife, I went to the janitor and he returned it to me,
But he said: If I were you, I wouldn't take it to school anymore;)
Yes, the 0566 is also pretty cool, I will look into that one tomorrow
Thank you!

If you are looking for a larger knife then the ZT 200 is another option as it is a manual flipper. Very well built too and in your price range.

The only way to know for sure is to ask if a knife is allowed on school. (which I quess they would say no)
But as far as I know it isn't illegal the carry the knife with you on school. I did it too the first 2 years, had never any problems. Right now I carry it every day to my work and to school (17 years old).
The knife I carry might not be as big as the 0350 but I'm planning the buy the 0566 and I will carry that knife everyday.

Bottom line, it doesn't matter what you choose you will have a good and great knife!

Back when I was a teenager, the TV show MacGyver was very popular and that's when my passion for knives developed. I had a Victorinox SAK and I took it everywhere I went. That' was the first time a knife practically became a permanent resident of my front left pocket. ;) Luckily back then a teenage boy carrying a SAK (even at school) was nothing out of the ordinary.

Much later my passion for knives was rekindled by another TV show. Special agent Gibbs of NCIS has a special rule concerning knives. Rule #9: Never go anywhere without a knife!

And that's how I first came across Zero Tolerance Knives. Agent Gibbs owned a ZT 0302, which is a great knife, but it is too big and too heavy for me. That's why I bought the 0350. It's the baby brother of the 030x models.

I own the ZT 0566 for a month now and I am very pleased with the weight and dimentions.
Love the Elmax steel. And if you like you can take the torsionbar out.

I love my 0350, solid lockup, smooth action with or without the assist. Mine is a blem and is slightly off center but no rubbing or anything. Its a great cheese slicer as well. Not as good as my LionSteel SR1A, but a close second.
