Hi,

I am looking at the Kershaw Leeks and could use some advice as to what makes them rare or sought after verses just made in China?

Thank You

First of all Leeks aren't made in China. Second, most any that are sought after are ones that, like most sought after knives, haven't been made in quite some time like the gold or ti versions.

Well .. shows what I know :o I thought for sure one of mine said "Made in China" on the box or blade. I just checked again and was mistaken.

I edc my random leek but the other two are saved for my daughters.

If you don't want a rare version and want a leek to start with, theres a guy on ebay selling all black USA made (model 1660CKT) "blemished" Leeks for ~$35. I just ordered one, we will see if its any good. its the desirable stainless Sandvik 14C28. Search ebay for kershaw leek and you'll probably find this guys auction.

Sorry guys, the list I had posted is my updated Leek Collection List and none of those are for sale.
