I need some second opinions

Makes me think of a cross between a CR Green Beret and a Tom Brown Tracker. Interesting design, and it has very clean lines. That being said I can't think of what I would use it for--did you have a specific set of intended uses or situations of use?

Nightmare grind? Looks really nice, I don't particularly like the the handle shape though, it doesn't look too ergonomic.

Of course a zombie knife! I'm kidding, its more geared toward a [dare I say] "tactical" knife

That's what I figured--hence why I can't think of what I would use it for. :D

If for tactical purposes the nose end could benefit from full serrations--it'd help with cutting through fabrics, while the base of the blade could remain plain edge. Just a thought.

Forget #1. I like the second design. Knock off the sharp point on the blade top about one inch from the tip. Just round it somewhat. And you don't need that much of a forefinger cutout in the handle. Too much of a good thing.
Keep in mind I don't know anything. I did once have a design, about 40-50 yrs ago, that I made out of plastic, back when Blackie Collins was getting his start. Went so far as to get some steel, but no bandsaw I had access to would ever cut it. So there you are.

You wanted honesty so here it is. This knife is not for me, I prefer a complete "sleeper" to the "diabolical" looking angular designs. The other problem I have with it is that I swear I've seen so many versions of this basic design already that it really doesn't look unique or special to me in any way.

Keep in mind, I'm not trying to bash your work by any means but I figured you wanted honest opinions no matter if they are supportive of the design or critical of it.

To my eyes it looks like a thousand other Chinese made knives that have flooded the market.

If you are looking for unsolicited advice than I would suggest creating an actual purpose built knife that actually has style and looks good. The type of knife that differentiates your knives and you as a knife maker from the enormous sea of uninspired company and small operation knife makers.

Sorry I couldn't be more supportive. Just seems like you went at the design backwards, what I mean by that is that you first came up with a "cool" design for a knife and then tried to find a "purpose" for it as a form of marketing as well as an excuse for it's existence in the first place.

Thing is, if YOU like the design and you want to make that knife than I fully support your decision and I'm sure it'll be one of the better made knives of this type. It doesn't have to have a purpose to exist other than bringing you, or someone else, joy.

Edit: For example, there are TONS of fantasy knives out there that serve no purpose whatsoever. However, there is a market for them and the proof lies in the fact that there are billions of these Fantasy Knives made all the time. Some people like to do COS Play or they like to pretend to be witches or they just like certain movies and thus they want the "weapons" from said movie, cartoon, play or fairytale. None of these knives are purpose built and there is nothing wrong with that as they serve to please and entertain the people who buy them.

I wouldn't want a Fantasy knife but I don't begrudge anyones desire to own and enjoy one. Not everything has to have a "purpose."

Make that finger choil larger and more rounded, or it will bite you when you pull cut. I would drop the handle relative to the blade midline to make it easier to get the point started in a cut.

Finally, if you think about what is going to happen when you try to sharpen the knife, the handle is going to get in the way, unless your blade bevels are set wider than the width of the handle, if you see what I mean.

Thanks guys these are the things that I just don't tend to see in a design, that is why I posted this thread. You guys just kept me from making knives that would later be a pain to use. BF rocks...... Working on moding the design, I'll post a pic later.
