I need some self control

Okay this whole Becker obsession started this past December with a BK-77. Then it grew to a BK-12 (MK2). I see the pictures of the BK10LE and think to myself I must have that and give Ka-Bar a call (and my CC number). Okay that should satisfied my appetite for a while then I start reading how awesome the 9 is. Alright I give in and order a 9 to see what all the fuss is about (find out all the fuss is well warranted). Then I see a BK7 with and extra set of micarta handles for a pretty good price, I bite again. I slap on the micartas to the BK12 and I am finally done, or so I think. I notice how every other thread someone is saying how the BK2 is such a "beast". Being only human I need to find out how much of a beast. Now I am done, until I go on that evil auction site and see this for 40 bucks w/ free shipping:

Again I give in. That's it no more knives for a while until, I see that the Machax comes out in Febuary. Here I go again... Anyway here's a current family picture:

Nah, you don't need self control, you just need more money. And if you're anything like me, it's way way easier to earn more money than it is to exert the tiniest bit of additional self control.

Thanks. I do find that I use the 9 and 2 more than I do the others. I also wanted to thank everyone who participates in this forum. It is so refreshing to have a forum where members are not bashing each other ruthlessly. You don't make the "new guy" feel like the "new guy". Everyone is treated with dignity and respect, which adds even more to the appeal of Beckers.

Yeah need to check out that beckerchat. It clearly is a different kind of animal altogether. When I first saw the BK10 I had to do a double take. I could not believe it either.
