I Need Something Orange for My Keyring. A Whistle Perhaps?

I need something orange on my keyring to help me find my keys should I drop or otherwise lose them. I'm thinking a whistle, but the Fox whistles are a bit big. What else is out there in orange. (I'm currently using a black Jet Scream whistle.)

That reminds me ... years ago I went into the paint department of a local hardware store and started to tell them I was making arrows and wanted some bright-colored paint so -- they cut me off right there and handed me a can of Official DOT Approved "Tractor Red" paint, and it was plenty bright. You can get DOT Approved paint, no problem, but keychain wear is hard on paint. A big orange plastic whistle sounds like a good idea to me. I've seen them at Walmart.

I was thinking along the same lines. Perhaps one of the brightly colored small Swiss Army models.
If you can't find any colors that suit your needs, I would go with a bright stainless steel. As with fishing lures, they reflect well underwater with nothing but moonlight so the same principle would apply IMO.
 
Which Fox whistles did you look at?

They have a new Micro Fox 40 over at County Comm which is only a little larger than a quarter.

After seeing the ACR and that Micro Fox, I'm afraid this might become just like the knife and flashlight thing for me. At least whistles don't cost very much. :)

So...who has both the Micro Fox and the ACR. (I'm hoping someone can save me the expense of being first.) :D
 
I keep one of those red foam floats on my keychain. Hard to lose, plus if I drop it in the water (boating area) I have a chance at recovering it.

I'm liking that Fox 40 Micro.
 
I have the latest incarnation of the old Lifeboat "Perry" whistle on my keyring, so theyre always easy to find, and just to make sure, Ive bunged a glowring on there too!
