I've been eying a Mayo custom TMX for $695, but know that I shouldn't be spending that much money. If I don't find someting else soon I know I won't be able to help myself. Any suggestions on anything to get my fix for less money before I end up going broke on this Mayo?

1. If you have a limited income(which most of us do) BUDGET yourself.

2. Barring the ability to budget, custom knives are definitely not for you at this point, unless you enjoy being constantly broke. BTDT.;)

3. SEBENZA OR Bradley Alias.

I am constantly broke because of knives so I feel your pain. You can fight it off with a William Henry, or a Sebbie or a Strider to save a few hundred. And you could even do some customs for around 4-5 like RJ Martin and Brian Tighe. Look at truenorthknives.com. Maybe you'll find your fix.

If it cuts hardened steel bolts & stays sharp forever... I want one! hehheh:thumbup:

You CAN get a Rick Hinderer XM-18 for $385!! And you get a kick ass knife!!! Titanium and S30V, and a nice selection of colors for the G-10 side!!
