There are several schools in the USA where mastersmiths teach bladesmithing/knifemaking.
The ABS site should have information on them.

There are also several knifemakers who teach classes on knifemaking.

Often, the simplest way to learn is to find a local knifemaker and visit him/her for short lessons and talks.

The Stickys at the upper part of the Shop Talk page have lots of information on procedures as well as books and other sources. Reading up on the procedures and materials will make you a better student.
Additionally, Dr. Larrin Thomas' book, "Knife Engineering" is a book on knifemaking steel, metallurgy, and heat treatment for pretty much every knife steel. Every knifemaker should have it.

A simple search for "knifemaking schools" gave this link with many choices:

According to his IP address, Saudi Arabia, which might be a partial answer to the lack of response.

Moving to Shop Talk.
If you have oil money I'm sure you can fly a master bladesmith over and pay them to teach you. Otherwise you will need to travel to them. Neels from Blackdragon forge in South Africa is always teaching people from around the world. I plan to make the trip in the future to learn from him.

Neels does excellent courses.

Kevin and Heather Harvey also do a brilliant 2 week course. Kevin taught at the ABS school and was the first South African master smith.

I have been watching Neels YouTube channel from before I started making knives he has been a wealth of knowledge. Even took the time to spend a few hours on the phone with me last year helping me with my plans exhibiting at Bladeshow Atlanta answering any questions and what to expect as it was the first ever show I'd not only exhibited but also attended. So travelling from Australia was a massive undertaking. Got to have a few drinks with him there also. Was a wild trip.
