I decided to post here because i feel like id get better results. I have a mora blade without a handle (the wood split and i took it off.) I would like to rehandle it because its a great knife. All i have is a block of Rosewood that i found and some woodworking tools. I dont think the tang is long enough on the mora to peen over the handle. Would some hardcore epoxy do the trick?

Thanks!

Yes epoxy is the way to go.
Make a guard if you want one on your knife. Then make sure your block of wood has a flat side that fits the guard.
Drill holes for the tang remove the material inbetween so you get one opening for the tang.
I don't know if your blade has a hole in the tang for a pin, drilling hardened steel is hard. But you should be fine without a pin.
Rough the tang up so the epoxy has something to hold on to. Clean it very well with accetone or something simular. I pour some in the tanghole as well to desolve natural oils in the wood.
Mix epoxy and applie plenty. Take the slow cure stuff, it is stronger and let it cure in a nice and warm room. Cold epoxy doesn't work.
Whipe off the exes when it comes out.
Shape the handle, and afterwards have yourself a well deserved beer.

See if your local library has a copy of Bo Bergman's book "Knifemaking". Features various ways to deal with mora knife handles and includes lots of info on sheathes, too. Sells for well over $100 last time I looked.

I bought some of the laminated steel Mora blades from TKS a long time ago as an experiment...and liked the result so much I started making a similar blade style in 154CM. Drill the center of your block tang deep with a bit just large enough for the tang to mostly fit down. You want it to be slightly tight. The guard will be a spacer later. Fit a guard in the normal way (instructions on this abound elsewhere). Use sandpaper or a Dremel style tool to notch the tang for better holding in the epoxy. You will basically fill the drilled hole with epoxy and slide the guard and tang in at one time. The epoxy will run everywhere but you'll grind it off when you shape the handle. You can even grind off the guard and leave just a cap if you like. Some examples:

Micarta works well for a guard too,
