It’s about that time, and I’m looking for a little help from my fellow forum members. I will probably do more researching than posting as the suggestions come in, but I will be sure to keep things updated.

Looking for:

-Vertical bifold
-Leather, or other natural exotic material (handmade, if possible)
-Slim
-Not longer than 4 1/4”
-Not wider than 3 1/4”
-Under $150

I usually carry a license, five or six miscellaneous cards, and a few paper items (insurance card, business card, or the like)

Money is usually carried in front pocket or not at all, depending on wether or not I happen to have any cash at the moment. Wallet is always carried in right rear.

I’ve been looking for quite a while, and I just haven’t found much that gave me any confidence purchasing. Thanks in advance for your help!

Check out Hitch and Timber. They've got some great options of handmade leather wallets. I personally have the Truckers hitch, which holds a small notebook and pen.
Multiple leather colors too. I think i got the Cherry Harvest

Craft and Lore
Thirteenfifty leather
Stock and Boulder
Leatherworks Minnesota

I'd give those three a go.

Tumi makes some really thin well designed regular or card wallets. I have one I've carried for four or five years that is still in great shape. The leather versions are under $100. Definitely a higher finished wallet, without rough edges.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I looked them all over, more than once, and decided to pick up a Tumi. I am also eyeing one from Saddleback, but I’ll see if everything I need fits in the Tumi first. Thanks again all, I really appreciate the help

Although not exactly what you are describing, I switched to a Secrid Slim Wallet a year or so ago and I really like it. It is smaller than my bifold AND slightly smaller than a trifold. The leather area has two pockets, an area for bills or reciepts, and fits 5-6 cards (I carry 3 embossed and 2 ID's). The reason I got this was to fit some of my pocket knives in my back pocket with it... also the squareness helps keep my pocket knives without pocket clips oriented in the correct position.

Saddleback Leather makes a wallet that fits your criteria. I don't have that specific model, but I have both their Front Pocket ID and a Medium ID Bifold. I wouldn't hesitate to get another if it fit my needs.
