Hi Guys, I am within a few months to wrapping my Book up on the History on BuckMaster/ BuckMaster LT.

No editor here :) but a Quick rundown is that this book will be THE SOURCE on the 184 and 185 PERIOD. If you are a BCCI member and read the 184/ 185 model history, My 184/185 book is WAY better. I am going full spectrum here, so a hard core 184/185 collecter to a person who just liked the cover or pictures will enjoy this Book. Speaking of pictures,it will be loaded with them plus every tidbit ,Military (mostly SEAL) info, diagrams, and unknown till now facts. Did I meantion it will be ;)LOADED with pictures of never seen before prototype knives, pommels, crossguards, pins, sheaths and pouches. The Book is A-okayed by CJ Buck who gets to read it FIRST before I publish it ;) Then it can be an Authorized Book..

I thank everyone for all there story's, information, hard production numbers etc. These people are CJ Buck, Chuck Buck, Harry Camphuysen, Rick MacDonald, Robert "Bob" MacDonald, Paul Bos,Joe Houser, Leroy Remer, Bill Porter, and a few others that will get mentioned later. From my friends here. I need photos of your BUCK CUSTOM Shop BuckMasters or anyone that you think would be a good picture. I will give you acknowlegment under your photo IF used in my book. If you have a COA from Buck that went with the knife a picture of that document would be great..

I sure wish i could help out with this project. The Buckmaster 184 "Patent Pending" knife was my 1st ever high-quality, large, fixed-blade "survival" knife. It really was all that and a bag 'o chips! I bought mine in the Spring of 1986 in preparation for active duty enlistment.

While on Active Duty, i carried my Buckmaster on many parachute jumps, rappels, road-marches, etc and is currently back on Active Duty with a Chaplain friend of mine. I gave it to him when we were in Seminary together after he expressed an interest in having one (though he didn't know i had one!!!). I wasn't using mine so much, so i gifted it to him. He was quite surprised!!!

THANK YOU for your Service...;)

I am doing a section of former Active Duty SEAL's and Special Forces that shared short storys with me using the BuckMaster.

IF you or anyone here would like to send me a short BuckMaster story from the 1980's and I use it in my Book. I can change your name for your protection OR keep it giving you acknowlegement for what story you submited.
