I need your help with the deceleration setting(VFD)

Hello.

My grinder is KMG-TX.(3HP 2 pole motor)

When I use 10" contact wheel, the deceleration time was measured at 66 sec.(full speed ~ stop)

So I tried to adjust VFD setting, and the deceleration time is reduced to 23 sec. Below is my setting.

But I found the below video. TW-90 stops in 3 sec!

1. 23 sec deceleration time fast enough?

2. And I wonder if there are any other settings that need to be adjusted.

Hi Sharpco, try setting J7 to DC injection braking. Then readjust decel trimpot for desired decel time

A few days ago, I tried it. 10" contact wheel stopped faster. But when it almost stopped, slowly run a little more and then stop. I didn't like this.
