I Need Your Input

I recently purchased the Benchmade 275 Adamas from a local hunting store.

I love the knife, but the store only carried the half serrated blade option. I don't know how I feel about serrations. One advantage is that the serrations on this blade are chisel ground, making it easier to resharpen.

My problem is I don't know whether to stick with the half serrated blade, or return the knife and order the plain edged version online.

What do you guys think? The serrations are sharp as hell and surprisingly have SLICED through the paper I tested them on with ease. What is your opinion on serrations? Should I return the blade and purchase the full plain edge, or stick with the half serrated?

Any input is much appreciated.

I'm not a combo edge fan personally. I'd get the straight edge.

While not a huge fan of serrations I do have a couple of knives that have them and they do have their uses. That being said I have a PE Adamas and it's a great knife and built like a tank. If you prefer plain edge then return it.

I get one of each... b/c that's how I roll!
But, seriously, I'd go with the plain edge.

Curious tho', what made you start questioning your initial purchase decision...?

Use it hard until it needs a new blade, then get a replacement blade from BM.
