My father has two large tumors in his brain and he'said having surgery tomorrow morning to have them removed. I've never been a religious man, but if God is listening I want as many prayers for my dad as possible. I've never been so scared in my life and I just want the big man upstairs to not let a horrible thing take away a truly wonderful father, grandfather, husband, and brother. Thank you in advance my fellow blade brethren.

Be strong my friend. Show your love and support him all the way. I hope things go well. Prayers sent your way.

Prayers for your father and for you in this time of uncertainty. Be strong for your family and yourself. I know it's easier said than done

Smoke and prayers heading your way for your dad and your family. Stay strong, I'm at my sister in law's now she was diagnosed with colon cancer and the mass was attached to her stomach, that was about 6 weeks ago. They operated on her last Monday before Labour day, she's still in the hospital today but the oncologist told her they got it all there's no cancer left. They took part of her stomach and she's had a few complications but she's doing so much better. I attribute her health to her skilled surgeons of course but I believe in the power of prayer and the fine folks I've met here who have prayed for many people I know have had an impact on many lives.

I'll be keeping your father in my prayers and your family in my thoughts. Please keep us updated if you can.

I hope things went well for your father and the family today. Please keep us posted.

I'll be praying for you. My wife was diagnosed with a BT at age 26. Not fun stuff and I wish you the best.

Sorry to hear this. Prayers to you and yours from my family and I. As others suggest, find strength inside yourself and through family.

I hope the best for your father. Lost mine about 2 years ago, and still miss him.
As someone else stated, spend all the time that you can with him.
Prayers sent.

Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers. My dad just had brain surgery today and he is doing extremely well, although he still has to undergo some targeted radiation as well as a full brain radiation to eliminate any other small tumors. All of the support from you fellow knife enthusiasts truly moves me so again thank you all.

Hang in there, your family needs your strength and calmness during this difficult time. Your definitely in my prayers tonight. One day at a time.

Ben, I pray for strength, healing and endurance for your dad and peace and clarity for you and the rest of your family.

You posted of your Sister in Law before and I am so sorry I didn't post anything then. It might have been around the time I posted my last update and it takes so much out of me to post each follow up that I don't come back to it for a while. But I did have her in my thoughts and prayers and I want to say that is great news to hear that no cancer is left! That actually brought a smile to my face to read this. I continue to pray for her and hope any complications she has had will not be so moving forward. I pray that she will remain cancer free and live a long and healthy life.

My Rabbi who I am very close with all of a sudden had blurry vision and felt strange. It was a brain tumor, and they did surgery that day. Scared us all real bad.

It's horrible to have to go through, I can't immagine for him, or your Dad. However, less thamn 4 months later he was running high holiday services which was extremely important. I hope your Father has a quick recovery also, and God speed to him and your family. Prayers from AZ.

Great news! Remember, no matter what you think or feel, stay positive. Show your dad that you believe everything will be alright. It helps a lot with the healing.

Good news, keeping your dad and family in my thoughts and prayers, Hospitals suck, I've been Jersey visiting my sister in law for 2 weeks and today she finally got released to a physical rehab center where she'll be for at least a week. I get to go home for a few days, yay...
