Calling all Spydie nuts. I recently purchased these 2 Spyderco C15 Bob T. models and need help determining if they are the real deal. They seem to match the descriptions I can find for the first and second generation (first 3 pictures are the first gen next 3 are the 2nd) models respectively, ( chem etch vs. engraved spyderco and terzuola logos, no finger cutout on the back of the 1st gen) but there are other differences not noted anywhere in the literature I've been able to unearth ( different grind area, different clip placement, different screw type on clips, different lock interface etc.). One was purchased from a presumed reputable secondary market online dealer (who I will not name as per the forum rules) and the other on Ebay (I'm not saying which was which so as not to bias your opinions. Are they both authentic ? neither? They did both come in white spyderco boxes that seem consistent with the period of manufacture, (I thought I took pictures of those too but if anyone is curious to see I can upload those tomorrow, or any other pictures anyone needs)I've never heard of these being counterfeited but I'm not very knowledgeable. Sorry for the generally poor quality of my photography, I've never tried to photograph knives before. Also please let me know if this is more appropriate ia different forum category.
Thanks.
