As some know, but most don't, my wife and I have surprise baby. Luke is 2 now and an absolute joy. I took to peeling apples for him with my yellow sodbusters. Of course, he expects me to use the yellow knife to peel his apples. The youngin' has no respect for the stag I tell ya. The two older kids have their own knives and are content not to inflict demands on the old man.

I guess no matter what else I carry, I have to have my sodbuster handy. To Luke, there really isn't an acceptable replacement.

Ed,

Schatt and Morgan made a fine sodbuster stag in 07. You will find em about 1 a month or so at auction. They spring for approx 60 or so. If you are stuck with sod bustin for the youngin, and have a hankerin for stag, there is one for ya. However, I do believe it is 420 stainless, (if my recall membrain is firing in proper order), but I have it on my bucket list, just a little farther down. What you have there sir, with your situation, is a beautiful problem. Life is so wonderful!

Sodbuster are one of my favorite pattern. On ebay they have a stag sodbuster from German Bulldog. I've been wanting one for a while but they seem to go very high. Like $55-$65 dollars.
