well, actually, the native could be classified as a saber grind given its swedge job. the manix shares its leafy shape, but minus that wicked swedge. me want that wicked swedge + that pronounced choil. the endura lacks choil for my tastes. the manix has a handle that's virtually unimprovable (!), but as far as blade shape, i could use just a little more sexiness, achievable by any semblance of a swedge. a big native would achieve just that.Ming65 said:Isn't that what Manix is? (a big Native I mean..........)
i have a reg native in s30v, & i rather like the little bugger. however, i personally have no idea why spyderco CANNOT SEE THAT SALES WOULD INCREASE if they offered a LARGE 4" native in g10/s30v. for some reaon i can't really stand the aura of cheapness FRN tends to give a knife, i'd pay extra for g10; it's just a personal preference thing.Ming65 said:I just heard of an upcoming small Manix, this might be more like a big native (except for the aforementioned blade sexiness of course).
I'm really liking my new Native III at the moment. It's only 1-2mm bigger than the regular Native but it feels more than that, especially with the fat handles.
