Idiot of the Month. I was playing with the whistle that comes with the Izula kit and put the two pieces together and now I cant get it back apart to insert the 550 cord. Is there a trick to opening this thing? Any help is greatly appreciated...(god, I'm such a moron)...

just tie the 550 chord in a loop, run a folded end of the loop through the hole, and stick the folded end of the loop through the other end and create a cinch.

nevermind, I got it! I used the old force it open with a screw driver and hope it doesnt break trick...and it didnt! YEAH! ...this doesnt remove the idiot part of this post though, thanks anyway.

I have a bunch of those whistles. The easiest way to get them apart is to slip a credit card down one side. That unhooks it and you can push the inside part out.

Also yes, my first one, that came with the kit, I did the exact same thing and had to come here asking for help.

No the idiot award goes to the guy that thought the whistle was some kind of friction lock for 550 cord (try putting that together if you get it apart ), and realized about a year later it was a whistle after reading the instructions.
