should get it by friday. It will have the tan handles and a black blade. Should be good for the pig hunting and the camp duties. Anyone got any angles recommended and other tips and tricks?

I didn't get a choice, not sure. Justin said he had a few on the shelf and asked what I was going to do with it, so I hope he sends the right stuff.

What is a RD7?????
A knife manufactured by Ranger Knives, from their Ready Detachment series. The RD7 has a heavy 7" blade, and is one of the best bargains around in heavy-duty camp/tactical knives.

Starting at $89.95, I don't know if they should really be called "bargains" when you consider how much less a Becker Knife and Tool Combat Utility 7 costs... and that thing is a lotta knife for under sixty bucks... I got mine at a gun show for around fifty, I think.

True, but a lot of folks don't like the Beckers. (Specifically, the handles!) However, lotsa folks around find they compare pretty favorably with Swamp Rat knives that cost about twice as much, hence my statement.
