Hello folks,
Just giving you an update of my search for my first (but not last--I hope
) folder. After reading your replies the last few days to my first post in this forum, where I was asking you for advice re: bying a MCUSTA limited edition folder, and having done some research on my own, I decided to order a folder which costs about 1/3 of the price of the MCUSTA.
I decided that I shouldn't go for a very expensive knife and to start out learning and using knifes by using a cheaper knife. Another parameter, which made me forget about the MCUSTA, was that, while a beautiful knife, I would pay about $200 for just the art on it and the fact that it was a limited edition folder. The same knife in its "regular" version does not cost more that $100! Then I looked at some "real" customs...they were too expensive (at least $350) and some of them had small blades. They looked like beautiful toys.
The folder I ordered goes by the name.....
Benchmade Osborne Axis Lock with MCP, Plain Edge BM943
I do hope I made the right decision and that I would be happy with the knife I chose. What do you think?
Thanks for reading me...
Best wishes,
Edalb
