I have been meaning to do this for a long time! But, I finally got around to ordering my very first Randall!! :D :D :D I am very excited about this.I ordered a Model 16, with green micrata, a single nickel silver guard. I am REALLY very excited about this. I feel that the the wait is very much worth it. Thank you for listening!

Good job! My first Randall, about ten years ago, was a Model #16 also. I didn't need it to dive with so I got the nickel silver forward curved double hilt and the black micarta handle in Border patrol shape. It looks like a smaller Model #14 with sawteeth. I've since given it to my oldest son, who does dive, and he likes it a lot when he needs a larger knife. Giving it away to my son opened up the opportunity to replace it (in my wife's mind) which I have done – about thirty times over! Most of them are gone now, I have one on order but don't have one in the house at the moment. My sons and sons-in-law got their picks before I sold the rest. Now just waiting to get a little closer to November 2008 to give Greg Gutcher my specs.

You'll enjoy it, I'm sure!

Have a model 1 and model 2 on order for 2009 and 2010. That seems like a long time. Had to sell my Randall's I had they where users not collection pieces and I still made a decent profit the day they sold the orders for replacements was made. But the best news is I was owed a debt and asked to be payed with a Randall 14 and I just got it Yesterday. Beautiful carbon blade , finger grip micarta , from memory model 1 grip feels more natural than the finger grips but I will be in the woods using it today to see.

You're gonna hate me for sharing this TFC but the Spyderco Outlet store just received a batch of Randalls in yesterday ...

No divers in the batch but a bunch of primo users for those looking for a deal.

I picked up a 6" #25 today and am as giddy as a school boy about my find.

Luckily, I live very close (20 minutes away) so I could pick it up personally (they don't ship these knives, you have to pick'em up retail).

They're about 30% less than AG Russell and about 40% more than buying direct (Retail is $390, AGR wanted $735, I payed $556 from the Outlet Store).

Beats the heck out of waitin' 4-5 years for it, or worse buying it on flea- bay...
