Hi Everybody,

First I am very sorry for all the missed deadlines & broken promises of delivery times.

I am ashamed of how everything has turned out. This is very hard for me.

I am a pretty private person do not like burdening my Internet friends with my problems.But due to resent post & events I feel maybe I should explain things

I have been usually pretty good about meeting delivery times, but to be honest I would not wish my last year of my life on my worst enemy.

1st
Almost a year ago I injured my back really bad.
I fractured all 10 of the processes of my L-series vertebrae (the little wings on the sides.
I also slipped a vertebrae off of a disc.
This meant I could not stand for more than a few minutes at a time for at least a few months.
After some physical therapy & lots of vicodin & Soma I got to where I could walk.
I also own a pressure washing business & I can no longer do it because the physical part of it kills my back.
Since that is my main source of income it has stressed me out quite a bit trying to hire people to make it work & still pay bills.

2nd
In December my wife & my children's step mom of 12 years cheated on me with a "friend" that was working for me helping with the pressure washing business. She then also left us alone & moved in with him.

3rd
Going through a divorce, splitting assets & everything is a little stressful & time consuming. Refinancing my house to pay her off & everything has been stressful.

I have also become a single parent to 2 teenagers( I have had sole custody of my kids for 13 years)

Like I said I would not wish this on my worst enemy & I am sorry for not letting everyone know but I am pretty private.

I am very truly sorry & hope you can accept my apology for missing delivery dates.

I have got my stuff together & am quickly getting caught up, & should have all my aging orders done very soon.

I am selling the concrete cleaning business & concentrating on the sheath & holster making business. I hope I can gain your respect & business back.

Well I'm sorry to hear all that you have been through.

I have been through much of that myself but without children. I wish you the best; and now that you are back into production I have a sheath or two I want.

Dave, I am not waiting on an order but I know you do great work and you have a lot of fans around here. I'm sorry you are having a rough go. You are among friends around here and I am sure everyone will understand. Thank you for sharing these things. Take care of yourself first :thumbup:

WOW.. I wouldn't wish half that on anyone...
let alone all lumped into one year.

David, you've done right by me. :thumbup:

I hope things get a lot better for you, and soon. Fortunately since your two kids are teenagers, soon they can move out or start paying you some rent! :D That should help reclaim the INFI budget.

In fact, it DOES happen to many folks.

You needn't worry about your HOG Brothers. We are certainly still with you.

I won't pretend to know what you yourself have been through, although I have been through some similar things in my life. Funny enough, I too am a private person like you. Still, what you've gone through IS Hell on earth, no question about it.

Know things will get better, and better than they have ever been before. I am living proof that it can happen. Life will be awesome again very soon in every regard.

Sorry to hear this. Unlike most of the guys in here I have not been through anything like what you are describing, it certainly is something I too would not wish on anybody. Hope you recover quickly from all of life's little speed bumps (and the big ones).
 
Dave, this too shall pass. Sounds like the kids are better off with you. I'll throw all the business I can your way, just say the word.

Jeeeeeze! That would stress almost anyone out. Me for sure. Dave, I am sorry to hear this. If there is anything I can do to help, that is legal ;), let me know. :)

You will get though this because you are a HOG!
 
Sorry to hear of all you've been through Dave. I know the feeling about infidelity and it really sucks. Its good to hear you're pulling through, keep your chin up.
 
I agree with Greg. Let us know what you have on your bench to press kydex for and we will take that as the go to step up whether we need to send additional models in or whatever :thumbup:
 
Man... Rough year sir. I met you and Blade this Summer, and have always heard tremendous things about you before then.

I know I still have an order with you, no rush here. It wasn't a striaght forward request on my part so when you get to it, you get to it. Remember, you are a big part of this place. You will always have support here.

I can't say I know how you feel, but I've had my share of hard times lately too, having gone through 5 jobs in the past 1 1/2 years, and being treated like a 2nd class citizen at every job.
I've always known you are one of the good one, and I know that you'll make everything right.

You never lost it, my friend. You never lost it.

I realize this is your business but, in here, it is also a community. Hard times happen that effect any business. More importantly, in here, it effected our friend.

My best wishes for everything to turn around quickly. I can't say you're pretty :p, but you are one of the more honorable people I've ever met.

Hey Dave,

I understand, I've been through most of it my self (doing a sub-set right now :().

I wasn't sweating things, the orders that is, I was still concerned about YOU, and concerned about the posts from customers who didn't have any history with you.

I've known you long enough to understand this isn't how you normally operate, that something was up. So thanks for sharing what's going on.

I hope things improve for you and you get it figured out.


Oh, and I got that MAD sheath you sent, Thanks !!
