Greetings you all:)

The more I carry the little bugger, the more I find out that the Alox Bantam is the perfect pocket knife/tool for me.
Sure, I love my Farmer but I hardly use all the tools on a normal day to day basis.
So the only extra I get from my Farmer is the bulge in my right front pocket:rolleyes:
Over the past 2 days while carrying the Farmer I only used the blade a couple of times and the screw driver/bottle opener:p

Well, I got all this in the ultra thin package of the Bantam:
A sharp blade and a combo tool/blade saver(dirty job tool:D)

And the little bugger carries like a dream.
Just yesterday I sat in my car, ready to leave I felt my right pocket and thought I forgot it because I couldn't feel a thing.
Was right there luckily:)

So for my day to day needs the Alox Bantam suits me just fine.

One thing however; how the heck do you use the combo tool for opening tins?
I tried my best but I hardly can make a dent in the lid with it.
But I'sure I'm doing something wrong here.,:o

Besides that it's the perfect pocket knife for me at the moment:thumbup:

Hear hear! I just ordered a Victorinox Pioneer. What I think is the golden compromise between the Huntsman and the Bantam. :)

That's all most people need day to day. I wish they made a 3-1/2 version of the cadet 2. That would be perfect.

I wish the Cadet had an awl, like a mini-soldier/pioneer. I thought about a Bantam, but I'm not a fan of the combo tool. I feel the regular screwdriver/bottle opener is sturdier, and the can opener (on a cadet) works well, and also works on phillips screws. I have a line on a Gunmetal Cadet that I hope comes through.

i wish i could have an alox bantams (at least a couple and some cadets)... to bad none of them ever imported here.
