I put up my 42............

......and traded it for an early 4" stainless, skeletonized, custom Bowie. I was using it over the weekend to cut up some garden hose, cardboard boxes, etc. while working in the yard. I really enjoy the 3/16" blade stock as opposed to the 1/8". The 42 is the undisputed production king of present balis but there's nothing like the heft of an original custom Bali-Song USA. I felt much more confident making heavy cuts with it and it'll really swing when I get it goin'!!!

What does that make? 4 or 5 bowies?

I'm guessing that since you used it that the bali was already damaged.
