I quit smoking!!!

Hang in there! One week turns into one month and then one year and so on. It's been twenty-two years for me so far. You can do it!

Congrats!!! Keep up the good work. I have been smoke free for 9 + years.

Congrats... I've tried and failed again. One day I'll butt out.

Great work. Every now and then take a deep breath and see how much better it feels.
5 yrs. for me.

Thanks for the support everyone I can't wait for the point where I can actually breath normally again and not wake up in the middle of the night coughing and wheezing !!! Already starting to feel a bit better :)

How long have you been smoking? I started seriously burning em when I was 14. I used to steal packs out of cartons back when Costco didn't lock up their smokes. I started with non filter Camel and Lucky since none of the other kids wanted to bum a non filter.

You should feel proud of yourself, its one of the toughest challenges a person can set themselves, one in which you have absolute control over the outcome.

Once your system's flushed itself clean, you should really notice a difference.

Good on ya'!

:thumbup:Good for you, been just shy of 11 yrs for me ;) It's tough BUT it will be the BEST thing you can do for your self and family in MANY ways!!!

Congrats ... It has to be one of the hardest things to do.
I need to start thinking about trying again, I've been smokin for over 30 years.

I need to get my stress level way down before I try though.

Once you hit a milestone (you set it) buy yourself a knife to celebrate, equal to how much you would have spent in smokes.
